Mentorship + Scholarship Program (Education)

Partnered with Aawaaz Education to provide a unique scholarship to students from lower-income backgrounds. Students from a community school in New Delhi were matched to University of Delhi college students with similar experiences to impart academic and co-curricular mentorship.

It is important for young children to see role models they relate to and aspire to emulate. A token scholarship was provided to both the mentors and mentees on successful completion. Seeing the success of the program, a scaled-up phase 2 is planned soon with more mentors and mentees covering Delhi Govt schools. All mentees and mentors were interviewed for selection, supported during interactions and trained before the program to create a safe space.
